Studio Nova has a Risk Assessment Policy which can be viewed anytime.

All Saturday students must purchase a blue Studio Nova t-shirt (£12) (directly from us) and black split sole jazz shoes.

There will be a £30 annual show participation fee to contribute towards venue hire, costumes and production costs. This is paid in cash in October.

If your child cannot attend a class, please try to let us know.

Please ensure you are on time to collect your child.

Parents are not permitted to sit and watch classes. There are lots of opportunities throughout the year for parents, family and fans to watch their child perform!

PLEASE NOTE:

All students should be treated equally, and all prospective students given a week one observation class to assess their capability to participate. Studio Nova staff commit to giving their students a high quality artistic and professional experience of the performing arts using a wide range of teaching techniques. Some children and young people can have a spectrum of individual needs including SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) or more complex behaviours that our teachers may be able to integrate into a typical Studio Nova class effectively.

However, it must also be recognised that such children and young people can be vulnerable and not all children will be able to cope with the various styles used in our best practice teaching methods. Parents should be clear that an initial observational class where the child is closely monitored during their first week with us works from both sides and it may not be possible to include individuals who, although enjoying the experience, are either disruptive to the learning of the main body of the group in which they are placed or who are not able to access learning or participate and engage in the learning activity. In such cases, this will be communicated to the parent/carer and if applicable, a refund for remaining classes will be issued.
